A Little About Me,
Originally from Long Island, New York and now a 15 year resident of North Carolina, I Play both Chromatic and Diatonic harmonica. I started as a Blues Harp Player then later learned to read music and studied Classical Harmonica.
I performed with various blues and country bands throughout the U.S.A.
I attended kingsborough College, N.Y.C. as a music major and have been playing professionally for 35 years.
Accomplishments;
Harmonica player for numerous musical theater and recording productions throughout the U.S.A. especially the Tony Award Winning Musical "Big River, The Adventures Of Huckelberry Finn"
Recipient of a North Carolina Regional Artist Grant and a member of The American Society Of Composers, Authors And Publishers.
Harmonica teacher since 1983.
I usually visit up to 30 schools and other organizations each year with my "Harmonikidz" harmonica program for children and adults.
Played harmonica on Broadway for two years in "The Will Rogers Follies" at the Palace Theater, N.Y.C.with Keith Carradine, Mac Davis and Larry Gatlin.
Performed at Madison Square Garden, N.Y.C. and shared the stage with Alabama, the Judds, Randy Travis and George Strait.
Played on Film and Television Soundtracks for K.P.M. Music, a division of EMI Records and have also performed and composed harmonica scores for shows at The State Theater Of North Carolina (Flat Rock Playhouse) Appeared as a featured harmonica player in a National Mcdonalds television commercial.
Instituted the blues harmonica program at The New School For Social Research, N.Y.C.

In August. 2007, I performed for six weeks in The Musical "Big River" at The Stephen Foster Theater, Bardstown, Kentucky. (See Photos)
